All the 17 Categories of Highly Polluting Industries have to install real-time monitoring systems (CEMS/CWQMS/CAAQMS/Flow meter/IP-C) at their establishments under ‘self monitoring of compliance’ scheme and provide access to the regulatory authorities to keep a vigil on the pollution status through live data watch and alert messages. The suppliers and service providers of RTMS are also stake-holders to this scheme and, therefore, an interaction meet was organised at Head Quarters of MPPCB to discuss various issues, including technological, financial, regulatory and post sale services, with them for effective implementation of RTM programme in Madhya Pradesh.
