TYPES OF HAZARD/ EXPOSURE
ACUTE HAZARDS/ SYMPTOMS
PREVENTION
FIRST AID/ FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE
Not combustible but enhances combustion of other substances.
Many reactions may cause fire or explosion.
Heating will cause rise in pressure with risk of bursting.
NO contact with flammable substances.
NO contact with aqueous ammonia, metals, oxidants, reducing agents and combustibles.
In case of fire in the surroundings: all extinguishing agents allowed.
Fire fighters should wear complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus.
EXPLOSION
Risk of fire and explosion on contact with combustible substances, reducing agents, oxidants, metals amd aqueous ammonia.
In case of fire: keep cylinder cool by spraying with water.
Fire fighters should wear complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus.
EXPOSURE
PREVENT GENERATION OF MISTS!
AVOID ALL CONTACT!

Absorb remaining liquid in dry sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place.
Do NOT absorb in saw-dust or other combustible absorbents;
avoid contact with metal implements
(extra personal protection: complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus).
Separated from
combustible and reducing substances,
oxidants, metals, organics, and food and feedstuffs.
Cool.
